In line with the Government of India’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, the Maha Shoonya Foundation is committed to promoting women’s empowerment through our program, Beti Hai Toh Kal Hai.
India has had a long tradition of revering the feminine aspect of creation, seeing women as symbols of power, peace, wisdom, and wealth. However, over time, social pressures and external influences have led to a shift in how women are perceived. They are now often seen as the weaker sex, victimized and exploited daily. News reports are filled with stories of their suffering, and the declining gender ratios in many states reflect how poorly women are treated.
We believe this must change. It’s time to empower and awaken young girls across the country. The Maha Shoonya Foundation is dedicated to this mission, organizing programs in schools to build confidence in girls from a young age. These programs focus on self-defense, the importance of education for a brighter, independent future, and educating girls about their legal rights and privileges.
We call on everyone to join us in supporting this vital mission for the betterment of society.
